A. 100% Local On-Device Storage (Financial & Ledger Data)Ledger & Forecast Data: All checking account balances, recurring income, bills, scheduled transactions, dates, amounts, and notes that you enter into CheckingAhead are stored exclusively locally on your device.
No Cloud Transmission: We do not operate cloud servers to store your financial entries. We cannot view, access, monitor, or recover your ledger or forecast data.
No User Accounts Required: CheckingAhead does not require you to create an account, sign in with Google or any other provider, or provide your name or email address to use the App.
B. Free Trial, Subscriptions, and Payment ProcessingTrial and Purchase Status: CheckingAhead offers a free trial period, after which a paid purchase or subscription is required to continue using the App. To manage your trial eligibility and verify your active unlock/subscription status, the App communicates with the platform’s native billing system (Google Play Billing on Android or Apple StoreKit on iOS).
No Access to Payment Details: All financial transactions for purchasing the App or subscribing after your free trial are processed directly and exclusively by Google (Google Play Store) or Apple (App Store). Foresight Pulse LLC never collects, sees, processes, or stores your credit card numbers, billing address, or payment instrument details. We only receive an anonymous digital receipt/token from the app store confirming whether your trial or paid access is active.
C. Technical and Performance Diagnostics (If Applicable)Crash Reporting: To ensure the App runs reliably, we may receive anonymized crash reports and diagnostic logs via standard platform tools (such as Google Play Console vitals or error-reporting utilities). These logs contain strictly technical variables (such as device model, operating system version, and stack trace error logs) and never include any of your personal ledger entries, account balances, or financial figures.
D. Information We Do Not CollectNo Bank Account Connections or Credentials: CheckingAhead is a manual ledger and forecasting utility. We do not link to your bank, credit union, or financial institutions (no Plaid or third-party bank aggregators). We never request, access, or store bank account numbers, routing numbers, banking login credentials, or Social Security numbers.
No Personal Identifiers: We do not collect your name, email address, physical address, or phone number (unless you voluntarily email us directly for customer support).
No Location, Contacts, or Media: We do not request access to or collect your precise or approximate location, contact lists, photos, camera, or microphone.
No Advertising or Behavioral Tracking: We do not use advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics, and we never monetize your data.
2. How Information Is UsedBecause your financial entries never leave your device, local data processing happens strictly on your phone or tablet to:Calculate and display your checking account cash-flow forecasts and running balances.
Verify your free trial status and unlock full App functionality upon purchase via Google Play or the App Store.
Maintain App stability and resolve technical bugs.
We do not sell, rent, lease, or share any user data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.3. Data Retention, Backup, and DeletionTotal User Control: Because all ledger and forecast data is stored locally on your device, you have 100% control over its retention.
Deleting Your Data: You can delete individual transactions, reset your ledger within the App, clear the App’s storage cache in your device settings, or uninstall the App at any time. Uninstalling CheckingAhead permanently and immediately erases all of your locally stored ledger data from your device (unless you use your operating system’s built-in device backup features, which are governed by Google’s or Apple’s respective privacy policies).
No Server Deletion Needed: Because we do not create user accounts or store your ledger data on external servers, there is no cloud database record of your financial data for us to retain or delete. If you ever contact us via email for support and wish to have your support email correspondence deleted, simply email us at [email protected] and we will delete the thread promptly.
4. Limited DisclosuresBecause we do not collect or store your personal or financial data on our servers, we have no personal data to disclose to third parties. In the rare event we possess support communications (such as an email you sent us), we would only disclose such information if required to do so by law, court order, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Foresight Pulse LLC, our users, or the public.5. Children's PrivacyThe App is designed as a personal finance and budgeting utility for adults and general audiences. We do not knowingly target or collect personal information from children under the age of 13.6. Changes to This Privacy PolicyWe may update this policy from time to time. By downloading, installing, starting a free trial, purchasing, or using CheckingAhead (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not download, use, or purchase the App.2. About UsThe App is developed and operated by Foresight Pulse LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”), a limited liability company based in Dublin, Ohio, United States.3. LicenseWe grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to download and use the App solely for your personal, non-commercial use on a mobile device that you own or control. This license is subject to these Terms and the applicable rules of the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.4. No Account Registration & Local Data ResponsibilityThe App operates without user accounts or cloud synchronization. You are not required to sign in or register an account to use the App.Because all ledger entries, balances, and financial forecasts are stored exclusively locally on your device, you are solely responsible for:Maintaining the physical security and passcode protection of your mobile device.
Backing up your device data. Foresight Pulse LLC does not have access to your local ledger data and cannot recover, restore, or retrieve your financial records if your device is lost, stolen, damaged, reset, or if you uninstall the App.
5. Free Trial, In-App Purchases, and PaymentsThe App offers a time-limited free trial so you can evaluate its features. Once the free trial expires, continued access to the App requires a paid purchase or subscription. Pricing and terms are clearly displayed within the App and on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store prior to purchase.Payment Processing: All payments, trials, and subscriptions are processed exclusively by Google (via Google Play Billing) or Apple (via the App Store). We do not collect, store, or handle your credit card or payment information.
Trials and Cancellations: If your purchase includes a recurring subscription or a free trial that converts into a paid subscription, it will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current trial or billing period. You can manage and cancel your trial or subscription at any time through your Google Play Store or Apple App Store account settings.
Refunds: All purchases are final. Refund requests are handled solely by Google or Apple according to their respective store refund policies. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
6. Acceptable Use and RestrictionsYou agree not to:Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works of the App.
Distribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App or any part of it.
Use the App for any unauthorized commercial purpose or illegal activity.
Circumvent, tamper with, or attempt to bypass the App’s free trial timer, paywall, or billing verification mechanisms.
Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or these Terms.
7. No Financial Advice & Accuracy DisclaimerCheckingAhead is a manual ledger and cash-flow forecasting calculator designed for personal informational and organizational purposes only.No Bank Connection: The App does not connect to your bank or financial institution and does not reflect your actual, real-time bank account balance, pending holds, bank fees, or uncleared transactions.
User Input Dependency: All projected balances, running totals, and cash-flow forecasts are mathematically generated solely from the dates, amounts, and recurring rules you manually input.
No Professional Advice: The App does not provide financial, banking, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice. You are solely responsible for verifying your actual account balances directly with your bank or credit union before making financial decisions, writing checks, or scheduling payments. You use the App entirely at your own risk.
8. User Content and Data StorageAll financial ledger entries, account nicknames, transaction notes, and settings you create are stored locally on your device. Intellectual PropertyAll content, source code, algorithms, UI designs, graphics, trademarks, and materials in the App are owned by Foresight Pulse LLC or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not use them without our prior written permission, except as expressly allowed under the license in Section 3.10. Disclaimers and No WarrantyThe App is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, mathematical or financial accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.11. Limitation of LiabilityTo the maximum extent permitted by law, Foresight Pulse LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any financial losses arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App.Without limiting the foregoing, Foresight Pulse LLC shall have zero liability for any bank overdraft fees, non-sufficient funds (NSF) charges, bounced checks, late payment penalties, missed bill payments, credit score impacts, or lost data resulting from your reliance on the App's calculations or forecasts.Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you actually paid to us for the App or relevant in-app purchase in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim.12. App Store & Google Play Specific TermsThese Terms are between you and Foresight Pulse LLC only, and not with Google LLC or Apple Inc. These Terms supplement (and do not replace) the Google Play Terms of Service and the Apple App Store Terms of Service. Neither Google nor Apple is responsible for the App, its maintenance, support, or any claims relating to it. Where applicable on iOS devices, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.16.
